The olympics maybe over (wipes eye with a tissue), but I still intend to complete my five inspired looks taken from the five colours from the logo. Today I have gone for the black circle, could you tell? This is probably my fav look so far, lets face it you cannot beat a bit of black.

AW12/13 weather is already pretty much upon us, well to be honest when did it leave? Choosing the well waited-for leather look jacket from motelrocks, and inspiration from the catwalks, I have put together a vampire/grungy look.

I adore this biker jacket, with its bold amour detailing, and it would definitely fit inside anyone's wardrobe! It's universal uses make it a sure must-have, easy to style dressing up or down piece. Look One is my Daytime Demour, using the jacket to work a more cas yet still vamp look. Paired with a skater high waisted skirt and a delicate nude lace crop top, it gives off a feisty yet flirty edge, softening those vangs for the daylight (we don't want people pulling out the garlic just yet). Now to transform the jacket into Evening Glore, use it as a outer layer to the Samsara dress, this is the time to sharpen vangs. Add strong flicks around the eyes, and if you dare apply a dark matte lipstick, I have gone for a deep purple. TREND ALERT purple is set to be big killer

To finish off,  layer up jewellery. As mentioned collars are going to be HUGE, they were plastered all over the runway and have already hijacked the highstreet's jewellery stands. I already have began a little collection, and plan on expanding it very shortly. This however leaves a little dilemma.. which one do I wear? I can give you a simple solution; layer them up. Taking the heavier weight collar to the bottom, stack up the more delicate on top. This look not only solves the problem of trying to choose between your favs, but also means you creative different neck details, result? never snapped in the same look twice. Finally, ofc not forgetting those pinkies. Stack them babies up with as many jewels as you desire.

What do you think guys?
Leathers are the ready?

Here is my third post of five about the glorious Olympics, and today I've chosen the green ring.
Peplums are everywhere, and I for one absolutely LOVE them! (Infact if you too love peplums, keep your eyes peeled on this blog as I have a fab post coming soon.)  The shade of green on NUMBER 1. is gorge, it's a pastel mint green, very fresh!

For an evening look I've paired it with NUMBER 2. the specks of metallics add a grunge edge. To strengthen this feel, I would stack up those fingers with some Rock N' Rose rings, whilst adding a cuff (boy I'm obsessed with cuffs!).

Alternative looks?

Try a daytime Tropicana with these funky printed cropped jeans NUMBER 6, and hippie esk floral garland.

OR

Going to a festival this summer? If not then you can just pretend by adding extra funk to this peplum by pairing with NUMBER 8. awesome Aztec shorts. I for one cannot wait to hit Creamfields, and this combo is definitely a contender. Extra cool? Pair with printed sunglasses in a clashing print to the shorts, I've gone for a pair from ASOS.

Fleur Romance

Ready for a trend update?

A strong feel of Edwardian fashion hit London's runaway for the soon upon us, although it already feels like Autumn/Winter 2012 has arrived.
Since Downtown Abbey hit our screens, late Summer 2011, it has been a huge success, with estimated 12.1 million brits tuning in for the christmas special (myself included). Catwalk's are renowned for giving people what they want and this season is no exception. Elegance, with deep jewel tones and flourishing blossoms are the looks to embrace, and MotelRocks have certainly picked up on it.

MotelRocks' new collection Fleur Romance contains all the features to keep your fashionista title. The label presents us the dark side of feminine florals, by deepening colours and mixing fabrics to create a marble of looks. The delicate elements to the garments, for instance the Sohelia Dress has a contrasting floral bodice to the simple black skirt, have taken great inspiration from the catwalk. Having the dark properties to the collection brings subtle gothic vibe to the otherwise feminine florals, which is exactly the mood portrayed this season.

The virtuality to this collection is awesome! The Choo Choo shirt can instantly be taken from day to night -I think jewels are also the key! You'll find me filling my bag with rings, ear cuffs and chunky chain necklaces to shove on before I go for evening drinks with my course mates, not forgetting a vampire lipstick -I thinking dark purple or burnt out red.

"Renowed for offering covetable collections of vintage inspired lust-haves. Motel combine unique design, enduring quality and fashionably eclectic mix of styles and silhouettes making it the go-to label for unique style on the high-street." -Nastasha from the MotelRocks team
